Geriatric Goodfellows

Have seen this movie before we all have. There is nothing new or surprising and it ran at least 30min too long.

MovieBuff will be coming to have a little talk with you.

And that was the take of everybody who decided they weren't going to like this movie before they watched it.

reply

not true. i was actually disappointed. its a complete non-story, no intrigue no up and down, just flat throughout.

reply

Thanks for your opinion. I completely disagree with you in every way about this film. I loved it.

reply

simple minds are easily entertained.

reply

Yeah, that must be it. 🙄

What are some of your favorite films?

reply

it's very eclectic from Papillion to Pulp Fiction

also like
The Remains of the Day
Lost in Translation
Blade Runner

It's really hard to pick a favorite.

edit: like to add Kubrick as well specifically Barry Lyndon, Clockwork Orange and 2001. FMJ is also a fav.

reply

Sure you have, because there were dozens of other movies that feature the main character (Shereen) and his recollection of what he was doing during the Jimmy Hoffa/Kennedy/Nixon. We've all seen this played out in various movies from different directors. Ayuuup. /s

you're an idiot.

reply

I accept your surrender

reply

Jack Nicholson literally played Hoffa, u dumbass.

I can't even watch it. One of my nephews turned it on LAST Thanksgiving after we had all eaten. A bunch of us were sitting in the den, some paying attention, some not, to have something on in the background. The CGI faces were incredibly fake and distracting and I remember laughing at the one scene where Deniro is supposed to be beating someone up. It's just not convincing watching him throw a stiff, off-balance, weak looking punch anymore.
