Headless (2015)
Is more graphic and disturbing than A Serbian Film. It's not nearly as well made and intended to be a B movie but still effective. I just discovered it and figured this was the place to announce.

shareI'm always looking for the worst, so I'll definitely look into this one.
shareDid you watch Headless yet? If so what'd you think? I pretty much agree with the OP, I find Headless to be the more disturbing between the two. Don't get me wrong, ASF is messed up, but Headless is just relentless in its depravity.
shareWhat's it about? And what could possibly make it more disturbing then ASF?
shareIt's about a sadistic serial killer. It follow him around and depicts his graphic murders. It's a B movie.
However, they may have both been surpassed by American Guinea Pig (2014). The film has no plot and minimal dialogue. It seriously looks like a home made snuff film. The closest I've seen to the real thing. No redeemable qualities whatsoever, just an amateur camera crew recording a guy mutilating 2 women. I made it through but I can't understand how anyone could "enjoy" that movie.
I just watched the trailer for American Guinea Pig. It's just an American version of the original Japanese Guinea Pig films. Which were fun but I was never blown away by.
shareI don't really like the Guinea Pig movies. I've only been watching extreme horror for about two years, so I'd never seen any of the earlier GP movies, but knew they were about torture and snuff. So I went and preordered the new AGP DVD, not really knowing what to expect, and when I finally watched it I was pretty pissed that there was really no story or much in the way of dialogue (lesson learned, research before purchasing;). However, I gave it a decent rating just for the effects and makeup, which were amazing.
shareMaybe more graphic, but definitely not more disturbing.
CG GORE IS THE WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO THE HORROR GENRE!
To me, A Serbian Film is too well made to be considered disturbing. Obviously someone knew what they were doing. Low quality films with good effects are more creepy.
shareHeadless is more graphic but the acting is freaking awful!

If you liked those films I'd consider seeking professional help
Yes because it's totally healthy and natural for people to want to see a film which is just people tortured and mutilated for 90 minutes, with no drama whatsoever. At least ASF has a story.

congratulations on falling for my sarcasm.
shareIt's not really the entire 90 minutes either. Have you even watched the film? You will probably say "no why would i do that" then don't comment in this comment section.
Healthy? People doesn't watch movies because its "healthy". Like..... wth?
http://www.twitter.com/lagcatsBRO <- follow for movie discussions, I'm the infamous lagcats, AMA.
It's human nature to be intrigued by the macabre, completely normal for one to seek (via films like ASM) what goes against social norms. Quite healthy as opposed to fantasizing about or perpetrating acts like the content in ASM.
Not all humans are repressed and/or afraid to feel the emotions that films like this might stir up. That, my friend, isn't so healthy. If one must always seek out only positive, feel-good fluff, Hollywood's *beep* movies,it begs the question as to what/why one's hiding or trying to keep buried...
But, if one feels better pushing their repressed views onto others, who am I to judge.
Sure, it's way better to watch a man rape a newborn infant as long as there's a plot. Sweet logic, bud.
shareAre you in adversity team for this movie?

Totally agree, bro. I was really surprised how far they took things in Headless. Both are pretty extreme, but Headless leaves a lot less to the imagination.
I think some people might disagree on Headless being "disturbing", but I thought it was. The killer was super intense, and IMO gave a helluva performance.
