I agree, the first movie had much better outfits. There's something so over-the-top yet whimsical about SATC fashion, but in this movie it was just tacky. Their makeup was gaudy, too, and only made them look older.

Worst: Most of Samantha's Abu Dhabi clothes were tacky as hell, like the black sparkly cutout bathing suit and, yes, the red karaoke outfit.
Best: My favorite fashionistas were Charlotte and Carrie, as usual. Charlotte always looks beautiful, and I especially liked the turquoise gown she wore when drinking with Miranda and the black, sparkly gown she wore for karaoke. I liked a lot of the slips and T-shirt dresses Carrie wore while lounging around in her bedroom, and the purple skirt she wore to the souk, and pretty much everything she wore that wasn't hideously Arab-influenced. There were probably a lot more outfits from them that I loved even more, but these ones stood out.
Thumbs up to Cynthia Nixon, who looked beautiful in every outfit, though I wouldn't wear them myself.

Hated their outfits when they are on the camels. When they first appear from behind the sand dune, the shot lingers on them as though we are supposed to be in awe of their fabulousness but they just looked ridiculous!

Ah Samantha's dress is lovely.
I love charlottes black dress in the karaoke, it's gorgeous.
I also like carries dress when she sees aidan except for her boobs that peek over the too, it's terrible.
Also Charlotte when she has her melt down, she shouldn't be wearing Valentino around two kids for Christ's sake.
I know your a mum but you have a full time nanny and two kids. Your making cakes with your kids as a fun day and your wearing an expensive suit. I ow its New York but I think the fashion is a little rediculous, wearing six inch heels making cakes, heels in your house, it's a little rediculous.

Most of Charlottes outfits but thats because she usually plays it safe. I loved the vinage skirt which got ruined.
Carrie's enterance outfit - white dress and those gold glitter shoes were to die for!
The girls dresses at the gay wedding were all nice
Samanthas white outfit for her date, when she ended up getting arrested.
And I know this is not an outfit but did you notice Samantha's nails when she was first in Abu Dhabi, they were blue and jewelled. I loved them!

Worst

Samantha's outfit on the camel, especially the head gear.
Sadly I didn't like the dior top and huge purple skirt Carrie wore to the market!

YES! that scene where Carrie is putting on her eyeliner and then she looks in the mirror in awe of how good she THOUGHT she looked made me LOL! I rewinded it a few times and paused it on her face and was like... that is horrible....all that makeup made her look older and she always looked tranny to me with tons of makeup on ( in the first SATC movie, her makeup on her wedding day ??? UGH!!! & with RED lipstick? SJP CANNOT pull off red lipstick. It def looked clowny/tranny.)

I also noticed when I froze that frame that she was sporting a lil mustache. Im sorry but it really did look like she had a brown upper lip. YIKES!

BEST: Miranda's gold backless gown during the "Mommy Guilt" drinking session.

WORST: Carrie's tux and Maleficent-style headpiece at the wedding. No, really.
