Didn't need "Mr. Wrong"

As Hallmark movies go, this one isn't bad, but it could have been much better. What weighs it down is the "Mr. Wrong" back at home, who of course has to show up and almost destroy her new relationship with an old childhood friend. The character obviously only existed to create tensions (who is she going to choose?) and obstacles for the two protagonists, but then is handed over to her bestie as a consolation prize. We know Hallmark movies need 84 minutes of content, but creating a character just to be dumped for a new love is a waste of everybody's time. As summer romances go, Romance in the Air has far too much filler surrounding a decent story.

Also, this movie must set some kind of record for "Most Outfit Changes in a Movie Taking Place Over a Few Weeks". This is what happens when the producers invest in wardrobe rather than screenwriting. Hope the main characters had HUGE closets in that vacation home!
