Hi,

Yesterday I watched The Damned United and I enjoyed very much. Since the time you wrote your post, you may have seen "Looking for Eric", with Eric Cantona.

An Italian one, I can recommend you a documentary about Johan Cruyff: El profeta del gol (it may be quite old, it was released on 1976). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0196020/

Other Spanish movies: "El penalty más largo del munndo" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0430454/ I am afraid this is not a very good one. I think that "Dias de futbol" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377834/ is a little better one.

Highly recommend any football fan checks out "In The Hands Of The Gods", a true story about a group of freestylers from England who traveled in search of their hero, Diego Maradona.

"When Saturday Comes" is too ridiculously cliched to be effective. I realise that Sean Bean was fulfilling a long held ambition by helping Sheffield Utd win through to Wembley but at 34! The semi final would never be held at Brammall Lane - even if the Blades were playing! Somebody should make a film version of THE BEST OF ENEMIES about the flawed relationship between Malcolm Allison and Joe Mercer.

Whatever you do, do not watch Goal 3.
