This is not going to be a popular thought...

I like Simon Pegg. I think he is brilliant. But as far as the trilogy of movies goes only Shaun Of The Dead is good in my opinion. I think I would have liked this film if it was simple about a man trying to relive the best day of his life and actually succeeding, which he did not do in the past. The Sci-fi aspect of it just took me right out of the movie. Same with the second film.

This is exactly what I thought when I saw this movie, I even meant to open a discussion about this subject. It seems we are not alone.

When the Sci-fi start it's ruin all the storyline and stop the character development. The simple story is much more appealing to me than all the strange stuff.

I couldn't agree more. Shaun is a classic, its hilarious and was completley new at the time. I actually disliked Hot Fuzz, I did not think it was that funny and I thought It was boring. The Worlds End is OK, its not too bad, its ok for one watch.

I can kind of see why some people outside of Britain might think Shaun is not as funny, because of lot of the jokes and little references they might not get.
