is that I have been pronouncing "Gemini" wrong this whole time!! It's gemini like "jiminy cricket" not Gem-in-eye. What the heck!!?

At one point someone does pronounce it gem-in-eye. I was wondering if the pronunciation was done on purpose. Either way, it looks legitimate as some NASA video out there call it gem-in-ee.

What bothers me even more is that JFK talks about the "de-CADE" when man will land on the moon, whereas I always thought it is the "DE-cade" ......

Sort of like some people pronouncing words such as police "PO-leese" and insurance "IN-shur-ence".

But from now on, when my wife is in the pool, I'm going to pronounce her swimwear "bi-keen-eye"..
