His daughter's song at the very end

Pardon me but it seems Beane's daughter sings something like "... just enjoy the show. You're a loser Dad, so just enjoy the show," a couple of times.
I'm at a loss as to what this is supposed to mean. It seems incredibly hurtful, but I'm thinking there must be something other than that behind it.

I would interpret the “you’re a loser” line to gentle ribbing and “enjoy the show” as an exhortation to not forget to enjoy the journey and, as Billy would say, “romantic” aspects of the sport. His job needn’t be all business.

Yeah, that's the impression I got. I think their relationship allowed for that kind of joke, too. I got the impression that this was maybe what was kicking him into finally letting go of his failures and disappointments in the past, which was his main struggle throughout the movie, moreso even than the baseball victories.

Billy is too consumed with his regrets and failures as a ball player he doesn’t even notice his success with the new system he applied. I agree they have that kind of relationship but I almost think shes not exactly calling him a loser but more stop acting like a loser and enjoy the show… meaning acknowledge the successes that are right in front of your face - case in point the GM offer from the Red Sox

As a teen would respond:🙄

It’s contemporary father-daughter banter! She was not saying “loser” in reference to his past failings. She was trying goad him out of being too morose in the moment. She could have said “cheer up, Dad”…. if she were Gidget or Marcia Brady.
