If you were 16
who would you be more interested in someone like David or someone like Graham?

Danny?
TV taught me how to feel. Now real life has no appeal.
I was definitely more attracted to older men in my teens. Well, I guess I still am. I married a man 7 years my senior! Especially in college, I couldn't stand dating the guys my age. All any of them cared about was drinking and partying. Blech.
Call me Katie. ;-)

Haha, I'm just like you! College guys my age...ehh.
I would have definitely been interested in him (and probably would have made some moves) up until I found out about what he was doing.

Ohh man, that makes me worried. If that's how women view all guys there own age in college, then I have no chance, because that's not me at all. Ohh dear, I can already see the girls stereotypical view of guys my age now, just ignoring all boys that age, Ohh God, this is not good...
Uhhh, bit of the subject there...Anyway, on the topic of discussion, I think she was attracted to him because she was mature for her age and therefore connected mentally with David, and felt they were destined for each other. Until WHAM! she finds out he's an immature idiot...

“My God! It’s full of stars!”
If in the same situation as Jenny, I would be more attracted to David, although there is absolutely no way my parents would have allowed me to see him. Having said that I would also be somewhat suspicious initially of his sexual motives. Friends I had at school who dated older guys (though none as old as 30) I generally viewed as naive.
You're god damn right I did!
I'm 17, and I liked Graham; he seemed really sweet.

Graham, absolutely. Maybe it's just me, but David seemed too seedy right from the start.
But I also agree with the poster that mentioned Danny. I never find Dominic Cooper attractive, but there was something magnetic about him as Danny. I sort of got the sense that there might be some attraction between him and Jenny during the scene in which they were dancing, it just didn't develop further.
David, if he had a beard. When I was her age, I did and later married a man 10 years older than I, who also just happened to have a full beard. Hmm, I see a pattern.... ;-}

I'm fifteen and I'd go for Graham. He's the sort of boy I wish I knew.
shareI was older, but I had a kind of David ;) Still love him, totally drawn to eloquence and intelligence and a flair of superiority

I was her but I was 15 and the guy was 25. My parents thought he was my mentor and in many ways he was. I certainly would not have been that naive about my daughter with any man. At the time I didn't see anything wrong with it. There was no way I would have gone for the young ones after having been with an older man.

Jenny was snob as well, speaking French, etc)
I would be more interested in David. I've always liked older men. In fact, I'm married to a man 11 years older than myself.
At the age of 15 or 16, I was definitely not fully grown intellectually. I was a mature teenager, in the way that I didn't seek out approval from my peers by doing immature and stupid things just because other people thought they were cool, I had work ethic, etc. I behaved much more like an adult than other teenagers. But I wouldn't say I was fully grown intellectually till around 20.
"What do you hear?"
"Nothin' but the rain."
It's dumb. The girl should stay in college/school.
What happens if he leaves her? She has to be able to take care of herself.
