Miles gives Duke his own glass of alcohol.
Why did Duke not notice that what he is drinking now is very different from what he was drinking few minutes earlier? Pineapple is quote sweet and Miles would have put lot of it in the glass for good measure.
Duke was in an emotionally vulnerable as well as susceptible state, he believed his career was on the up and up due to his sudden increase in subscribers. Imagine how you would be if you found out you just won the lottery and someone handed you a drink, the event of winning the lottery would most likely be the primary focus, temporarily compromising the majority of your sensory awareness.
Good observation though!
Whisky said earlier he was so sensitive that even a drop would affect him. There were so many clues throughout the movie but not knowing Duke was a target, they went over our head.
