Will there be some Gay ape representation in this one?

Even although the reboot trilogy was fairly recent, I don't recall any LGBTQ+ representation in those films, which could make for some fairly uncomfortable viewing for some.

Now that the franchise is safely in the hands of Disney, should we be expecting some better diversity in this one? Will we finally get to see some gay apes?

Yeah, being gay is no longer “hot.” Every movie now needs to have a man dressed in woman-face. Actual human rights issues be damned.

I am hoping that they come up with a way where the horses also have the power of speech. I'd love to see a 3 way conversation between a human, ape and a horse in this movie. Maybe at the end, a horse uprising occurs and they conquer the apes and the planet

Yes, the sequel can be Kingdom of the Horses with the humans and apes teaming up to take on horses, who now rule the world

I like this concept - Perhaps it could feature a race course scene, with horses filling the stands and betting on which human will come first, as they are forced to run around a field, jumping over fences, with numbers stuck to their backs...

The plot ideas are endless. Imagine. Talking horses enslaving apes and humans. The planet is a madhouse

Would you have gay horse representation in this original concept you've come up with?

I think, for today's modern audiences, it would be important for them to see some gay horse relationships to fully buy into your vision...

Haha! I hadn't read this as I was avoiding looking at this board until I saw it but yes!

He said something like "He was my village". It was a definite subtle YMCA nod, so yes we did indeed get some gay ape representation...
