Leo the Taxi Cab driver

Poor, guy. All he did was do his job, and dude jacked him for it. I guess the point was to show just how ruthless Mr. Killer was. Not a bad movie, tho. A little odd, but good enough.

Edit: Correction on his name.

Yeah he got a bad deal alright. What if it turned out he was the killer's girl's cousin or something. That might have been an interesting wrinkle.

reply

Yeah it would. This movie needed some kind of surprise and some kind of character development.

reply

Especially as it seems she was aware of what he does. She may join the dots. Awkward conversation.

His name was Leo

it was dumb to kill the cabbie. why? he gave all the information.
we know by that point that the Killer is ruthless.. his droning narration told us that much.

reply

Eradicating any ends pointing to him?

reply

The cabbie knows where he lives. This guy might call the cops later. Once he's "safe," he might think, "This guy jacked me in my cab! Screw him!" and report him. He also might talk to his boss and they might realise that this is the same guy who robbed them. But any police would be bad.

Leo also brought killers to his house once. The killer actually can't know if Leo had been told, "Call us if this guy shows up." Leo might have a number to a burner phone that's going to bring hell back on his head.

It's so much easier to just kill the guy.
