R-rated film instead of PG-13. I wish it was way more serious film with more violence. Overall, it was great looking movie and an entertaining comfort watch, nothing more than that.

There seemed to be a lot of restraint and mixed messages. One second it's a cutesey story then it's about homeless stealing stuff and PTSD. It would have been better if they chose one path or the other.

I agree. The movie seemed to be caught awkwardly between light-hearted comedy and serious drama. Tatum’s lead character definitely needed some more vulgar / adult dialogue
