CW President of entertainment said Warner Bros. did not want another competing Superman property around for the release of Superman: Legacy in theaters in 2025.

I haven't seen the show, but stopping while a show is still going strong is not a bad idea.

I'm sure if ratings were good enough they would have kept it going.
