Ikea blankets? Nice.. lol

*SPOILERS*

There's a scene with Alexander and the girl with the far away eyes sitting in the fields, it's after the romp in the hot spring bath I think. Anyway, they are filling the frame with the mountains and fields in the distance behind them but something very distracting is going on with them. They both escaped the farm, and are now wearing absolutely pristine drapes. Cleaned, ironed (no creases), no signs of wear and tear and even the threading and design looked machined of modern era, like something from a 2022 Ikea catalogue!

I found it massively distracting, lacking attention to detail and realism and not at all contrasting well with the previous film footage that shows everyone wearing garments more of that time period, dirty, torn, messy but likely accurate.

This looked completely out of place. I get that they wanted to cement this contrast of 'fleeing' and 'getting away', but c'mon... modern blankets in AD900? lul

That's very interesting.

Just out of interest - Had a minor character or say an extra in the background been played by a person of non white color, do you think that would have been more, less or about the same level of spell breaking as the ikea blankets?

Vikings were known to assemble their furniture themselves!
