Which 1 of them does not want to be saved? SPOILER

She was up, up, and AWAAAAAY! . . . until the Teddy Bear mascot she put in the co-pilot’s seat did a Human Torch and spontaneously combusted, blowing up all and sundry. Teddy Bears do not practice pyrokenesis. Somebody sabotaged the bear to prevent the chance of rescue. Who? My first thought is Misty. The more we see of her—in both time lines—the more unwrapped she seems. True, they ALL have some serious problems (cough*NAT*cough), but Misty is the most controlling. Whom you you suspect?

Even if you can't spell it correctly, at least you got to show us you know what pyrokinesis means. As for the culprit, you might want to pay attention a little more closely. But I'm glad you finally understand Misty now that they've beaten you over the head with a characterization on display from the start.

Why don't you enlighten us then? I don't think the show made any culprit evident. And if it was Misty, I'd be interested in hearing how she pulled that off.

I was thinking fuel leak, but the shots of the bear burning suggest otherwise. It's certain that none of the adults in S1 know about Misty and the flight recorder, and the mushrooms were passed off as a misunderstanding. Maybe someone wanted the Christian of the group out the way?

It never ocurred to me that the teddy bear went up in flames because it had been tampered with. I just looked at that as some supernatural force not letting them get rescued. Besides, how do you make a teddy bear go up in flames at the exact moment you’re taking off? It’s a bit of a stretch
