how does he fall for the same trick twice?

he knows that il nam was also player 001, he knows that player 001 always decide the votes and that 001 signify that he is the "main" player.

then the black masked leader who is number 001 immdiatly try to get friendly with him just like il nam did

and he dosent even suspect this? is he fucking stupid?

also,

the voting does not make any sense. so are you telling me that the majority of people will want to risk their lives for that money even when they dont know for sure that they will even get it or that they know only 1 gets it. so are you telling me 130 people all think they would be the winner? makes no sense. why would they choose risking death when outside they have much more options to make money?

and its not like they knew they are gonna win or die, they only learned it when the first game started, so , again... its not realistic at all. they would not even think to risk it. they would all vote to get out.

i swear the writing in this series only gets worse with times. its enjoyable to watch but its narrative is really luckluster

ok finished now

god gi-hun is such an idiot and naive loser. like you could tell they never wanted season 2, he won bilions. then he think of revenge. lol. yeah right. his last plan was fucking stupid. even with their entire plot armor. does that idiot not see that the soldiers outnumbering them way way more? + they are trained unlike them. why would he think this plan will work? so his plan is to get into the game just to take revenge. fucking stupid as fuck. naive idiot. the writing is so stupid on this show. his character was way better when he was just a gambling addict. way more realistic.

reply

His "plan" was to take a gps tracker inside his tooth implant so outsiders could raid the island... It's not necessarily about revenge, it's about taking out what he considers to be evil-doers and put his blood money to a good use. Maybe you're the one who is too stupid to understand what's going on?

reply

i think you are the retard here for thinking such "plan" would even work where the guards vastly outnumber them and have more ammo + are trained VS some lowlifes who never shot a gun.

you are such a moron that you ignore my first point that gi-hun the idiot does not even suspect player 001 when il nam from the first season was player 001 as well. not even when he see hes the last and first to vote and 001 immidiatly try to gain his trust yet he dosent suspect a thing

reply

>the guards vastly outnumber them
they don't know how many people the squidgame gang has and if they are prepared to deal with a surprise assault

>and have more ammo
how can you even tell? they might have thousands of ammo on the boat, stupid point

>are trained VS some lowlifes who never shot a gun.
all of the guys were former military, did you even watch the show? try to pay attention next time

>you ignore my first point
yea don't care about that, they could have just swapped numbers to make it be more realistic instead of dramatic 1st vs last number but who cares? only you. it's funnier like this.

you should watch the show a second time cuz you didn't understand what happened. Seong's main plan was to infiltrate the games with a tracker on so his crowd of armed ex-military could ambush the SG crowd. You keep talking about his hail-mary plan inside the games and pretending like this was his main idea from the start of the show.

reply

telling me i dident watched the show when he missed the key scene where they were out of ammo and the "milatery" guy who were suppose to collect them got ptsd attack. and also only 3 of them were soldiers. gi hon friend, the tranny, and the same guy who fucked up and got ptsd attack. not to mention that any fool could tell the guards have way more ammo, its basic logic. they outnumber them and have more weapons and ammo. most of the players were low lifes without any milatery background.

gi-hun "plan" was fucking stupid because he should have known that once he would be sleeping and in their hands they would detect his fake teeth easly. him not being smart enough to predict that only proving that hes an idiot.

his entire "plan" exist only because netflix demanded season 2. the creator of this dumb show lost 9 teeths and wasent even paid for season 1

reply

I'm talking about the guys on THE BOAT who were all military and that was Seong's original plan which you were criticizing. The rebellion inside was a last resort, a desperate attempt.

The only reason they knew about Seong having a gps tracker somewhere in his body was because the boat captain learned about it. His plan would have worked if not for that so it was not stupid. You act as if the sg gang are gods who can't be beaten in any way. You're just nitpicking and being boring. Let the hero do hero things, what's the problem. It's not real life.

Plus the fact that he already spoken to him at the end of Season 1.

Surely that voice would have stuck with him after such a traumatic experience to at least the extent it would have triggered something...

This kind of annoyed me as well. Same as the first season they just kind of ignore that and make it a us vs them situation with those wanting to stay acting as a team.

Not one of them makes that reasoning you were talking about. And it's unsatisfying as they just get shot anyway, so there's not even a moment where you can see the character even realising the error of their thinking.

I agree that it is highly unlikely that over half would choose to stay after seeing people being gunned down in the first game... but they do try to explain this with most of them owe to much money and their lives would also be in danger if they leave and can't pay up when they get out.

So I chose to accept this even though I agree it is highly unlikely...

In regards to player 001... I do feel he is very suspicious of him, but he does also see him help out and for example gun down guards... But this suspicion is also why he chose his friend to go with to the control room and not player 001... So you can call him stupid but I do think the show tries to explain his actions...

I agree that the plan to overpower the guards and shoot their way to the control room is dangerous and unlikely to succeed, but he is desperate at this point, and want to stop the game once and for all.

So you do have to accept some (you could call them illogical decisions) for the show to work... but it is not that bad as you make out...
