did they force showrunner to put a tranny in here?

fucking woke shit. they killed the hottest girl first and left the tranny? what in the fuck? i've literally never seen a tranny in a korean production ever. this cant possibly be of the showrunner's free will. fucking shit.

edit: since i made this post, i googled it a bit and reports make it sound like showrunner is big into this tranny shit. in which, i mean they're lying and he got forced into by netflix. he goes on to talk about how he wants it and shit like that. i just don't believe it. nobody in SK gives two shits about this tranny crap. it would've been more believable if the showrunner didn't talk about it at all and acted like it's normal. there's no way in hell he's on a social crusade about trannies. it's crazy seeing all those articles cry about how they couldnt give an actual tranny to play the tranny in the show too.

you mean the bee girl from the trailer? i thought i'm the only one who thought she was HOT

reply

how can you be the only one? she looks like straight out of a kpop group.

reply

the tranny with the deep voice yeah s2 is woke as shit

reply

S2 in general is just a giant pile of poop.
the only part i enjoyed is all those X's (who supported and believed in our BS hero) get fork stabbed in the night.

you gotta figure anybody stupid enough to come back to the games is someone you should stay away from..

He probably sold out for the big payday since Netflix didn't pay him much for the first season. He probably had to sign a contract stipulating that he would adhere to the Netflix DEI policy.

I thought this show would check all the DEI boxes since all of the people in the show are from "underrepresented groups".

I haven't watched season two yet so I'll probably wait until next year when season three drops.

reply

ep 1 and 2 was so good but it soon devolve into boring stuff though. last 2 eps i couldnt even standing watching, i just skipped around to get the story. it barely made sense.

reply

I was on the edge of my seat for season one so it's no surprise that season two failed to match that. I might subscribe for a month of Netflix to see the second season anyway but I cancelled Netflix after the wokeness that took over The Witcher, The Last Kingdom and Vikings.

reply

Just find and kind of agree, although I'd add episode 3 as well.

I didn't really see the point of a second season for this tbh but liked what they were doing at the start. Think the first three episodes all had good shock endings and were more about what was going on around the games rather than actually about the games themselves. Which I thought was a good way of doing it and angling it more from the guards perspective also added something.

But really that dropped off and then it just became too much filler re chatting around voting and the voting itself. We'd already seen enough around that in season 1 and adding number 001 didn't really offer much more.

I'd rather we'd just have had the rescue troops arrive sooner and had the thing wrapped up with the revelation of who 001 was rather than dragging it on.

I think you're delusional if you think SK culture is based, they are ground 0 for ultra feminism (check the 4b movement) and have the lowest birthrates in the world presumably because relationship dynamics are completely shattered.

Not saying it's normal for them to go full pro-tranny but they usually have a lot of muh strong-woman narrative already so i'm not surprised to see it. Maybe my expectations are too low.

reply

i heard the 4b movement is extraggerated. western women ran with it because it "proves" them right that even koreans are doing it. too bad it's not real. birthrates are low in every highly developed country. koreans have it worse because what do you know, they also have the most harsh working hours and financially competitive culture. why do you think koreans are competitive in almost every industry? they're a country with no natural resources. no, koreans don't give a shit about tranny. you're the delusional one. they rarely even talk about gay issues. it seems all the faggots in the west wish to god asians were gayer. netflix paid for like 20 gay male korean tv series already. i literally never saw any crop up before. there's no audience for it in korea itself and no network would bother funding it. all the gay korean shows now are for white faggots to watch.

reply

4B has been a thing there for many years before this recent US election. It's not a meaningless thing in their society at all from what I learned. I'm not saying there is only one reason for low birthrates but the ruination of traditional relationship dynamics is for sure a big factor. What's incorrect about that? There are plenty of developed countries that don't have the crazy competitive culture of sk/japan and their birthrates are also very low. One of the big reasons for that is cultural and it's related to feminism but of course there are other reasons. If you think SK is such a based country then how come there are many shows with a strong emphasis on strong-women who kick the big bad guys butts all the time?

reply

They just couldn’t fucking help themselves, not only is it just a character, but there’s a whole plot line and sap story all around it, boo-hoo me.

I watch less and less modern media because of this type of shit. I thought this one would be spared because Korean dramas don’t really have them but here we are.

reply

I find it very ironic that you anti-woke people call everyone else snowflakes because they get offended too easily but the minute they put an LGBTQ+ person in a show or movie you like, you all become the snowflakes.
