The ending is so badly rushed

I wouldn't exactly label The Belko Experiment as a serious film. It's basically a gore fest with an interesting concept...sort of like The Purge films. Except, I enjoyed this film way more than any of The Purge flicks. I do give credit to the plot. It had some potential, but was limited by it's unimaginative writing and bad casting choices (or just bad characters). But like I said, the concept was interesting. For entertainment purposes, I'd say this film is watchable. But don't expect too much depth in the story-line. What bothered me the most about the film, was the badly rushed ending.

After Mike survives the experiment and is taken to the headquarters of the operation, we barely get to see the mastermind behind it. His screen time is so short-lived, that I wonder why the writers even decided to put him in the story. And plus, the way Mike killed everyone at the end was just so random and super unconvincing.

And by the way, that very last scene at the end saying "phase 2", reminded me of the end to The Killing Room.

Agreed the end was so cliché lone survivor becomes Rambo kills all the bad guys BS

last scene was also reminiscent of The Matrix (architects room)

Agree. I would like to simply see the announcer say, "Okay Mr. Milch, we already gathered all the data we needed. Thank you for playing." And then just switch the head bomb. The end

That would be the same ending as Cube 2.

I agree... seemed way to easy to just overpower and shoot the soldiers and wery unnecessary to include in the film... A better ending would have been to just see him exciting the building and then going to all the screens of the experiments going on all over the world.

Another issue is the experiment itself... I mean it is so simple that I cannot see you would even get any valuable data... All the different reactions you could have outlined before hand... Of course you could argue that before you test it you are just guessing... but c'mon at least present an experiment which could seem to have some value.

And also the reactions when they single out the people who should be shot... If I am chosen survival mode would kick in... you can't expect to just have 30 people sitting still waiting to be shot... most of the people would be going at the the guys with the guns... I mean they wouldn't have time to shoot everybody...

I like these kind of films but this was mediocre at best.
