Only Joss Whedon can save the MCU

The Avengers was great. Age of Ultron only so-so. I'd put Whedon's MCU run on about the same level as Taika Waititi's. Ragnarok is excellent, Love and Thunder so-so.

Jon Watts, the Russo Brothers, and James Gunn are the directors who were consistently great in the MCU. I'd also put Jon Favreau in there, but I like Iron Man 2 more than many seem to.

Shane Black is the one who made a pretty bad film, Iron Man 3, but whose work in general I adore and would love to see get another crack at a film.

J.J. Adams is the guy who hasn't done an MCU film that I think could throw down a dope trilogy.

Joe Dante would probably create something great if he were given the chance.

Toy Story, Avengers movies, Buffy and Firefly! I miss his work. Such a talented writer and director. Not many know this, if you make a web search, large part of the script for the movie Speed was mostly rewritten by Joss and was uncredited.

Whedon's work was good. The Russo brothers were better. They consistently made great films - "Captain America, The Winter Soldier", "Captain America, Civil War", Avengers: Infinity War" and Avengers Endgame".
