Really?

Director David Gordon Green confirmed in an interview for Halloween Kills that for Halloween Ends, there will be a four year time gap between the two films.

Four years? How's that going to work? Michael Myers goes into hiding?

reply

Yeah its gonna be a shit show. The four year time gap is even more stupid when you factor in the Extended Cut's ending. I don't hate Halloween Kills, & 2018 is great, but man they really dropped the ball with this reboot.

I think it would have been cool if they never captured Myers and he just appeared on another Halloween 40 years later. I don't see the problem if Myers is a supernatural element that we don't understand. It would be bad if they just had him run amuck on November 5th of the same year.

I'm just imagining Laurie Strode with a shotgun, a walker, and a colostomy bag.

Not sure we need a repeat of silent night deadly night.

Omg, Lol!!

Or captured yet again. But I’m sure it’ll work out (knives crossed). Bring it on

reply

Yeah I have to wonder what he was doing for four years.

reply

They've come up with a reasoning for time gaps between sequels 6 times already in this series. I'm sure they'll come up with something.

reply

I hear ya, he was gone for twenty years in H20.

reply

Funny enough, that's the one they didn't give an explanation for.

reply

Well to be honest Myers did say he wouldn't kill again until Duke Nukem Forever was officially released.

if you like these movies you are dumb

everyone has commenting history, you are exceedingly dumb

The man has no idea what he's doing, Halloween Kills was unbelievably cringe worthy at times it's tiers below the likes of Halloween 4 & 5.

Why they decided to give him control of the entire new trilogy is beyond me.

reply

None of it matters, this will be rebooted again in a few years.
