An Incredible Film
highly unusual, great special effects
shareIf there were ever a movie to see in a theater, I imagine it'd be this one. Too bad I didn't go because I was very skeptical considering how much i hated Blair witch project. The only thing I didn't like was the very very unrealistic out of place dumbass jokey comments by TJ Miller's character Hud. I like the movie enough to make my own edit, taking out all of the dumb tension breaking dialogue from him. I think that'd make the film an 8 for me.
shareIt does have it's strengths.
One of the better 'found footage' Horror films.
I really enjoyed it, good fun.
shareOne of my favourite experiences at the cinema. It didn't translate as well to the small screen, but still a good movie.
shareI'm not wild about found footage usually, but this was well done.
AND... It is the only Kaiju film since Gojira '54 to actually work as a horror film. It's kinda funny that Kaiju defaulted, almost immediately, to WWF with men in suits or, more recently, cgi, when the idea of something like a force of nature, but with a malevolent intelligence seems like a great source of horror.
