Yeah they were and what I don't understand is how/why boys do that. This isn't the first film where I've seen boys mastrubating next to each other. In Angela's Ashes theres a scene where a group of boys are doing it together and in Y Tu Mama Tambien two friends are lying nearby each other and doing it together so it seems its not uncommon... but its so weird.
