People complaining about Carey Mulligan's looks

Okay, so I don't think this girl is very attractive, she'd be cute at most, but I can't understand why so many people are making angry and hateful comments about her looks. If you were to criticize her personality, or her acting, that would be justified, because those are things you can CHANGE. An actress should be criticized for her bad acting, but she can't change her face! Her face is her face, it's what she's got, there's not much she can do about it.

It's because imdb posters are a broad and classless demographic. It's almost as bad as youtube comments. So there's no shortage of people prepared to say things most people just wouldn't say because most people know how to behave.

Being in a film is about your looks/acting skills. So, I don't think wanting to see an actor with at least ONE of those qualities is asking too much. As I have said before, she looked hung over or on drugs!
