Where are the german war machines?
no airplanes and not even artillery to support the troops?
shareI remember halfway through the movie a scene featuring two combat airplanes (German, French?) in the back, when Paul and Kat are in a non-combat field. It is indeed true that German artillery is conspicuously missing and its absence reinforces the Germans’ state of helpless cannon fodder.
