Dub or Deutsch?

Which is one is better?

reply

Deutsch of course...provided you understand it. πŸ˜‰β€‹

reply

Thx. Yeah, I tried English, its just Germans with British accents.

reply

Dubbed movies sound like cartoons.
It isn't that hard to read subtitles.

reply

Ahhhh...you corrected your OP-headline. πŸ‘β€‹

Edit to add
British English is taught in German schools.
The German accent provides the German vibes. ☺

reply

Original language to a film is always better. Even though I did learn German in school for about three years, I totally forgot a lot of it... it is not even funny. And I would not watch any movie being dubbed, takes away the feel of the film. Same goes for video games and anime. Just read the subtitles, it is not a big deal.

reply

Why would you dub anything? Completely takes away the performance of the actors.

reply

Even if the letters are small, they always take away from the screen.
It disturbs the overall impression, especially with nature and art films,

And sometimes I'm just not in the mood anymore to read after reading the whole day.

reply

It’s a war film. It’s not heavy big dialogue scenes

reply

Oh, and I thought it's about ducking.
Jk, watched the movie without dubs or subs cause German is my 1st language.

reply

Always original language , duh.

reply

I haven't watched this but, just putting in my opinion about dubs and subs. When I watch a movie that has both, I watch it both ways. First I watch it with the subs and then if I like the movie, I'll watch it again with the dub. That way you get two different experiences from the same movie. I've always enjoyed doing that.

reply

Dubbed by a kilometre.
Subtitles are strictly for idiots that don't understand cinema.

reply

People took the bait here.
