Two stunning blondes falling for the same shy kid?? Riiight.

Meaning the high school girl and the college girl. That's when this otherwise fairly realistic movie crossed into the ludicrous, I'm sorry to say.

Everyone knows that women - especially Blondes - go for looks, money (or the potential to earn loads), image/ style (i.e. flash car, smart clothes, etc.), Big cock, great sex. It can be one thing, a combination or all of the above.

The guy in the film is studying law so the potential is their to earn *beep* loads.
He's shy - which makes him easier to manipulate.

He has a horse cock (as someone else has pointed out) - which, in a womans mind, translates into "I'm gonna get the pounding of my life" i.e 'Awesome sex'

so there you have it, the reason why two fit blondes fall for shy mr average :P

It's a movie. live with it.

1. he's very, very good looking
2. comes from a good family
3. has good grades - back in the fifties it meant a lot.
4. has a big dong... but how would they know until they see right?
5. is shy, but confident and has a cool mischievious smile.

Your points 2 and 4 make no sense in this case. Your point 5 is a paradoxon. Point 3 is a good point though.

point 4 was meant as a joke. point 2 makes a lot of sense - coming from a good family means "money" or "financially stable", which means he will go to a good school and have a stable career and most likely a good chance at a successful career, which he did. women tend to go for those kind of men especially back in those days when most women became housewives or just were expected to marry and usually marry rich. i don't know what paradoxon means - is that german for paradox? if so how is point 5 a paradox? you don't think a shy person can be confident? you can have a shy nature, but be very confident about certain things. i know i'm the exact same way - i'm very confident, aggressive and good at my job, but when it comes to dating/relationships especially in the beginnings i'm extremely shy, nervous and over-cautious.

LOL. Americans think that all blondes everywhere prefer the same type of men as their blondes. Hello, there are other countries outside yours (just don't ask
Miss Carolina though).

Besides, making sweeping generalisation about someone's preference just because of their hair colour? So what do redheads prefer? Somehow I have a feel that the OP doesn't have a science-related degree. Probably some liberal arts or English or something LOL.

Want a good example of a German blonde's preference? Heidi Klum's. Case closed.

Saying "LOL" multiple times in a single post makes you look dumb. Just an advice. But you were spot-on about my English degree (in progress).

I'm a blonde "hottie" * used to be a model..herrm. I've always went for the slightly nerdy charming quiet ones..I've been married to one of them for 10 yrs now. Im danish though ,and danish women don't like big macho guys anyway. Like some other poster said.. Ther ARE other countries you know ,the girls in this movie are german ,and also sort of intellectual . Not the cheerleader type;)

Besides ,The guy in the movie is gorgeous.

Amanda, on a different thread you said that your 14 yr long marriage started with a one night stand after minimal conversation, and that he's a funny life of the party kinda guy.
That means that neither you or your husband are the shy nerdy type... So how is your story relevant to this subject?

yep that's right ,but he's still a big nerd , he had been single for 5 yrs before we met , he was always the buddy of women ,never the love interest . He collects star wars items and lotr stuff, lost his virginity at the age of 24 and is tall skinny and wears glasses :) but he's LOVELY. thats why I basically threw him over mu shoulder and molested him on the first night . Nerds are keepers ♥

The girls didn't "fall" for the guy. They were simply intrigued because he behaved differently. Notice how in that classroom scene his friend acts like its the first time he's seen a girl close up, while the main character can't wait for the end of class so he can go over to the older woman's place for some good ol' pussy.

And since when does falling for someone equate to having sex with them. I doubt the college blond and the guy were in love. It seemed like a cathartic screw to me.

Can I borrow your brain? I'm building an idiot.

reply

My opinion is that they fall for him because they sense in him something manlike, not like in other boys, and that is because of his relationshio with the older woman.
