Did Nina have sex with Lily?

Hey guys. Well, I'm new to the Black Swan board, and probably this subject has been discussed a few times now, but I wasn't here nor did I find the threads, and since it's something that confused me since I saw the movie 2 years ago, I'll have to ask.

Did Nina REALLY have sex with Nina or was it an illusion/nightmare? I mean, in the movie, I don't think Aronofsky made it clear whether that happened or not, and I'm sure that was his intention. I mean, Lily states that Nina was dreaming, but that came off as on purpose to make Nina confuse, but I'd like to know what you guys think about this.

no, it was a fantasy

There's a clue in the wooden bar Nina uses to block her door shut. If Lilly had simply woken earlier and left she'd presumably just have just moved the piece of wood and it would be somewhere near the door. It doesn't make sense that she'd have carefulyl returned it to where Nina keeps it. But when Nina wakes and leaves we see the floor area around the door and we see her scan the room for it. I think it shows us she never got the piece of wood out from under her bed in the first place. It's also a distinctly one-sided sexual encounter, which suggests it's more a fantasy than something real.

Definitely a wet dream

It didn't happened. Did you notice that Nina's mother ever looked at Lily? No, she didn't notice her. Lily is not the kind of person to lenter at Nina's house in the late night, especially when her mother is in her house. It was a dream!

There's something wrong with Esther.

I think it was probably a hallucination, caused by the drugged drink. Although I would have accepted it as real, even if she hadn't been drugged.

Did the OP not watch this movie? The conversation the girls have afterwards is proof that it was definitely a dream.

Lily was never there. It was Nina's mother abusing her. Nina was piss drunk and taken advantage of. Remember the plank Nina placed infront of the door to block her mother out? It was removed the morning after. Black Swan is a story about abuse as much as its about a "descent into madness"
