The pacing for episodes is so quick, and hardly anything in the show makes any sort of sense anymore! Characters just teleport across Westeros, while D&D decide to focus in on useless shit, like Brienne being a virgin and Tormund drinking. It honestly feels like a soap opera now. Man, now that they are off the books, this show has gone to shit quick. It makes me sad tbh.

Also why would she be embarrassed that she was a virgin? The setting and place is similar to Europe' medieval era, she's unmarried so it's not something questioned.

Excellent point! She's also a noble which would make her losing her virginity outside of marriage highly unlikely.

GRRM needs to fix all the problems with the TV show when he writes his books.

That whole Brienne thing was so unnecessary. I can’t believe Tyrion would say something so off-putting and insulting to a knight and war-hero.

And the sexual chemistry between Brienne and Jaime is a flat 0%. They should’ve left it with just mutual respect and a touch of sexual tension.

So dead on about chemistry. Loved the mutual respect they worked out over time but suddenly they just leap in the sack?? Wha? Of course he just runs out 10 minutes later so it’s like none of it ever happened anyway so.... why bother with all that sht?

I agree.

I would rather have seen Tormund get it on with her, because it was funny.

But it was unnecesary either way.

In this episode there was too much romance stuff going on.

Jon & Dany, Jamie & Brienne, Grey Worm & Missandei, Gendry & Arya...

I agree. Their choices of what to put on the screen are confusing to me. Season 8 is turning out to be the same subpar Thrones that we got in Season 7.

I honestly think that seasons 7 and 8 should have been 10 episodes (50 min episodes), and actually attempted to flesh things out better. Everything feels SO rushed. However, I know that HBO has a budget, so that's probably why tbh

Yes, they could have done 10 for each season even with a few of them being 90 minutes.
