Will There Ever be Someone Whom We Hate More Than Ramsay?

A few months ago, I turned one of my colleagues on to this show. A few days later he thanked me, and said, "I'm four episodes in and already there's this guy I really hate, I just can't think of his name..."
I instantly said, "Joffrey--but, in a few more seasons there's someone you'll hate even more." When he finally "met" Ramsay, he told me I was right.

With (apparently) two seasons left, will/can the next Big Bad take us to new heights, and who--or what--will s/he/it be? It would have to be someone already in the story, with so little time left. The Night King seems obvious, but he's a monster. Can an actual monster revulse us as much as a monsterous human? The Mountain is another possibility, but he is probably a mindless brute who does the queen's bidding. My choice is Littlefinger, whom I've always thought was the most dangerous player in the game. I think he'll stop at literally nothing to win. What do you think?

I'm going to go with Euron, Cersei and Little Finger. Those are three main villains right now. But I have to say neither of them can rival what we saw in Joffrey and Ramsay. Those two were downright detestable.

From what I've read Euron is supposed to give them a run for the money. But something seems so very rushed with him. They are quickly trying to wrap up the stories and in doing so, his character seems only half there or something. I'm not sure how to explain it. It's as though, all of a sudden there was this character Euron...and it has been made clear he's a bad guy...but so what? What has he done so far that is really awful? He killed his brother...so what? That guy was a prick. Then he states that he wants to murder his niece and nephew...but that didn't really tug at me like Joffrey or Ramsay did. Not to mention... I'm not really a huge Yara fan anyway. Nor am I a huge Theon fan either.

So...that leaves his character wanting for me. Yeah I don't like him...but I don't like Cersei and Little Finger much...much more.

I guess I understand completely what you’re talking about nonetheless – because I feel very much the same.
We’ve had really great bad guys, but Euron seems flat and one-dimensional like a bad guy from an 1950ies pirate movie. Only talked less about their big cocks. Good thing they decided to drop the eye patch he has in the books which at least avoids him being total cliché.

Moreover, they spent six seasons to build up a story of people who rival each other across thousands of miles, and then, on the home stretch, someone new jumps in to pee on the parade of the major players. Which, maybe, could have even been interesting if that somebody didn’t emerge from a 1950ies pirate movie. But sadly, he is.

Now I halfway expect that Cersei’s master plan will be to bring back Orson Lannister from the dead in order to smash her enemies like he »thmashed« the beetles.
Khuu, khuu, khuu.

That is exactly how it feels. We've had years for this tension to build and all of these characters that we have come to know are coming together and then suddenly an outsider is introduced and has been shown...what a total of 5 times in the show...if that. And he's just there to throw a wrench into the machine that was working so nicely as it was. If Euron was to work he should have been introduced seasons back and let us know more about what he has been doing...than to all of a sudden have him show up on that bridge and kill his prick brother.

Honestly I hated Joffery way way more! I was scared of Ramsey but didn't hate him as much as Joffrey. in contrast love Jake Gleeson... seen some interviews with him, what a sunshine! Such a sweet and smart kid and you only that realize what a terrific actor he is!
