She was way too immature, in some scenes she actually reminded me of those really bad movies where adults acted like mentally challenged people... what 17 year old girl dresses like she did in the ice cream parlor scene? WTF it was 2009, not 1954.
Go to a mall and see how any average 17 year old kid dresses... I remember my sister and her friends a couple of years ago would dress either in really short shorts and a hoodie... or leggings... or regular jeans... not those long flower dresses like from a 60s sitcom.

In 1954, seventeen-year-olds were far more mature than in 2009. In 1944 my dad was seventeen, and on the crew of a U.S. Navy destroyer fighting the Japanese navy. Seventeen-year-olds today need sitters.
