it completely demeans the african american ethnic group

shareDid anyone else laugh at the irony that in the african-american chicken place, where Precious stole some breakfast, they had a white man cleaning their windows?
Ashmi any question
There are many posts on this board that will testify to the absolute authenticity of this movie. That is the actual tragedy of the situation, not the fact that it isn't one hundred percent all fairies and unicorns. You have to be sleeping under a rock to think this kind of world doesn't exist out there and no amount of putting on the blinders and pretending it's not real will make it go away. Sorry.

Calling the race card is the easiest and most overused ploy around. Yes, racism does exist (in many forms), but crying wolf repeatedly tends to nullify any discussion of it.
