Has enough time passed to admit it is underrated?

This movie just popped into my head again tonight and I decided to give it another watch. Saw it in theaters and was underwhelmed. Fourth viewing tonight and it was fantastic! Brad Pitt, George Clooney and John Malkovich gave what I believed was their best performances! Outstanding acting in this film. The Brad Pitt eye squint really killed it for me. Is this movie highly underrated at this point? People were extremely disappointed then thinking of another Big Lebowski. These days I think it was not given it's due. Another absurdly underrated film of mine would be Observe and Report. I thought it was just going to be a Paul Blart rip off at the time. Could not be more wrong.

I find this to be the only type of comedy that makes me smile or laugh, another example would be Only Lovers Left Alive. I don't quite find traditional comedies like The Hangover or The Secret Life of Walter Mitty funny. Gave this an 8/10.

Pitt is awesome. Love the whole cast.

Well...no movie is underrated or overrated. Its just your opinion reflecting in that statement, there can be no fact in that.

Having said that, I will also like to point out that this is the highest rated Coen movie by me. Seems odd, but may be its not. Everyone's got a taste and unique mind. I think it somewhat depends on the fact that whether one's mental frequency matches with the director/writer w.r.t. a particular movie - so he/she completely gets the (often)subtle message they are trying to convey, and consequently appreciate the artistic work.

I rated this 10/10, didn't liked it immediately after watching, but I have a habit of reflecting on past events(not productive many times). So, after 2-3 days and viewings, I really came to appreciate the humour. In fact, I think, unlike many others here, that Comedy is the predominant genre of this movie.
