Hopkins Or Langella Who was a Better Nixon???

Hey
I'v seen both Nixon and Frost/Nixon which both have extraordinary talent behind it. But who doe you think is better Anthony Hopkins in his 1995 oscar nominated role or Langella who is a shoe in for the nomination.

Personally I can't decide. What do you think?

P.S. I'm sorry if I'm repeating another msg.

Hopkins was a better Nixon, but Frost/Nixon is a better movie.

I am going to have to jump onto the Dan Ackroyd bandwagon here. I tend to think that comedians are better at finding out how to impersonate people than dramatic actors. They know what too look for because it wouldn't be funny if it weren't true.

Dramatic actors tend to look for different angles that don't make the characters true to form.

But I feel Hopkins played Nixon physically tighter and that is kind of what you need to do for him. He never seemed to be comfortable in his own skin.

Gonna have to say Langella, his drunken monologue about everything he fought to gain and how desperately he clings to get it back had me speechless, he should have won the Oscar for his amazing performance.

I've seen them both, but I preferred Langella.
