I haven't seen every episode, but it seems to me Kenny has absolutely zero redeeming features. Just wondering if anyone can tell me of any other TV shows with similarly narcissistic and egotistical main characters.

This is one of my favorite shows, but there was always something about it that I sort of found hard to watch and I couldn't really figure it out exactly.
Eventually I realized Kenny Powers is almost exactly like my uncle, except that he was never famous or successful at anything. Seriously, imagine Kenny Powers if he literally had no reason to be so full of himself. My mother is a very forgiving woman (which I've been grateful for a few times myself) but my uncle lived with us off and on for much of my childhood and teenage years, and my mom just let him live there and do whatever he wants. He wasn't abusive or anything like that, he was just a jerk/egomaniac but with absolutely no reason to be full of himself. Every once in a while I wonder what he's up to but then realize I really don't care because all those nights we would stay up playing Halo and he would throw a little hissy fit and yell at a 12 year old for beating him for a change. It's like he just wanted me to let him win like Tracy Morgan's character from 30 Rock. LOL
He kind of resembles him as well, which is why I had a similar feeling with Danny McBride in general, even though I think he's hilarious.
Even just while writing this post, and catching up on the show (never saw last season) I'm realizing even more ways he's like him:
1. My uncle once made a scene at a funeral, his own Mothers, similar to the way Kenny Powers did at Shane's. Simply because in her obituary his name was listed last following his 3 sisters.
2. He's in his 40s but still flirts with, tries to score with, and feels entitled to college chicks. I've seen his facebook page, and it's very creepy. But also sad that it's actually working to an extent, or at least it appears to be.
3. He abandoned his son and moved to Canada. He would always complain about how his ex, who he also abandoned with her son, "wasn't hot anymore." If she was ever brought up he always made a point to mention how much weight she gained after having his son, but never once acknowledging that he was always fat. He and my cousin (his son) did reunite years later, and he was kind of cool with it. But my cousin is kind of an idiot too, so whatever.
4. He's a Carlos Mencia fan.

If I can find a photo of him somewhere I wouldn't mind sending one but I haven't seen or spoken to him in several years.
It's not a complete look alike, like you wouldn't mistake them for one another. He's fatter and doesn't have the hair. But they could be brothers, but maybe some of it's his voice and personality too that makes him look even more like him to me. I showed my mom a clip from Eastbound and asked her and she said she can see it but it's not a strong resemblance.
