Wow, this movie is only 6 years old and it’s already forgotten

None of the characters or subplots in this movie matter anymore. I can only imagine how bad this movie will age in the next 10 years.

It's too bad. I still have fond memories of it in the theaters, we have a DVD copy of it, and we still recall some of the more memorable scenes, particularly the one involving the Hulk smashing Loki and calling him a "puny god." rofl

Can't tell if serious or stealth parody.

You sure you're not thinking of 2008's The Incredible Hulk? That movie had no sequels, both The Abomination and the set-up for The Master were forgotten, and even Betty Ross was forgotten. The only actor who reprized his role from that movie was William Hurt as General Ross, and even then he never had any screentime with Ruffalo's Bruce Banner.

Some movies I like are forgotten. Like The Pagemaster and A Simple Twist of Fate.

I don't know what this means - the movie is already forgotten. In what way is it forgotten? By whom? The movie has continuity that flows into several other individual superhero movies and the collective Avengers movies and it is continuing on to phase IV of Marvel as well.

I don't quite understand what you mean in that it is forgotten?

We all remember the memorable dialogs, scenes, the awesome all superhero circular pan shot in NYC near Grand Central etc. etc. Hulk's lines that "that's my secret....I'm always angry", IronMan sacrifice, Capt America ordering the cop who refuses initially and then follows when Capt America battles some Chitauri, Loki being slammed around with "Puny god" remark etc.

to so much more...

This movie is by no means forgotten by the vast majority and I'm not even a comic book fan nor did I know who IronMan or Capt America or Thor were before the launch of those movies.
