bad message

Basically this movie teaches if you are sheltered all your life it's okay to fall in love with the first loser you meet who just travels and parties and has no aspirations in life. It's Hollywood pushing this American true love crap as usual. Except they are shameless about it. It's worse than "tangled."

While I agree with your opinion that the message is horrible, I don't think you're right or justified calling this "American true love crap"
Most Americans wouldn't allow some dumb guy they met a day ago to take their daughter to some travel trip.
It is more accurately described as "Hollywood crap" or "YOLO crap".

I was actually thinking the same thing. Why would this parent who isnsonorotevtive of his daughter allow some annoying kid who only has partying on his mind. It's ridiculous. Kind of an innocent girl is going away with this doofus. Lol

Daddy Dracula should have gone on a trip with her or at least sent her and other monsters to accompany her together.

Are you saying it's not OK to fall in love with someone just because they happen to be the 1st person you meet? Holy close-minded. Whether it's the 1st person or the 111st person-you fall in love with who you fall in love with.

It's...a...frigging...cartoon. Perhaps if you stopped looking for tv/movies to raise your children and instead did so yourself, they would know how to properly find someone to love.

I thought there was a positive message with the boy seeing the father's point of view, and trying to do what was apparently the best thing for her. NOT such a loser.

Trouble with kids movies today they're very dumb and talk down to children.
And they tend to try and make prince and princess from everyone.

Yes, Frozen was almost like that too.

But I disagree about the aspirations in life. He might get people paying him to record his travels, or he could just be rich and no need to work.
