A very bad movie making an offensive joke about a good movie?

I mean the moment when is seen Twilight on the plane, Dracula says something like "this is how they represent us now".

Really? You can make a joke like that only if your movie could be a film you will not forget in the next 10 years. No one will remember Hotel Transylvania this summer, or in two months.

All that this joke tells me is that the film is not a film for children, but a movie for immature people, Whether adult or young.

I like, "Twilight," both the movies and the books. But I'm not so wrapped up in liking the books and movies that I'm blind to their very obvious flaws. And let's face it! The vampires in that particular franchise are pretty laughable when compared to vamps like Dracula, Lestat, etc. I mean, they can't go into the sunlight because they sparkle? Seriously?!

Sparkly vampires are an abomination. That is such a disgusting concept. Vampires are not supposed to be cute and cuddly (unless it's Count Dracula ala Sesame Street or like this a kids movie) They are blood thirsty killers. A pox on sparkly Vampires.
