best car chase in recent memory?
The car chase in this movie was just fantastic. The shots, the editing, the lack of music, and the sound design all made for an absolutely spellbinding scene. It's also refreshing how it places its emphasis on the actual skill of the driver as opposed to any outlandish stunts or vehicular crashes. In fact, I don't recall a single car getting demolished in it. It felt really old-school too, like something you'd see in Bullitt or Vanishing Point. And we even get to see Reacher use his intelligence in it with the way he cleverly escapes. All-around, great scene.
