Turns out this movie is kind of awesome.

Gave this flick a fresh spin tonight in 2022. I turned this off after 30 minutes or so back in the day. Thought it was pretty damn dumb. But man, this movie really goes nuts in the back half. Just wall to wall carnage. It was a bizarre sort of greatest hits repackaging of all the Aliens and Predator movies with 1001 easter eggs throughout. But tons of fun. I love how all the humans were just caught in a meat grinder between these two aliens duking it out on Earth. Really felt like how this would actually go down. And then we get the cute tie-in to the mythos. Sure, why not. Sure was dark though. The way bigger tv I was watching it on this time helped with that. I mean, this was basically just a schlocky slasher flick with Aliens, but man, I think it was pretty good for that. Let's face it, some pretty damn questionable films have been made since for both series. This really wasn't so bad.
