Okay, sure. AVP and AVPR are by no means perfect examples of quality film making...but just think about all those scenes where the creatures are beating the absolute crap out of each other...THAT'S what these films are all about.
And for those of you complaining about the story and acting...it's a sci-fi/ creature feature, not freaking Shakespeare. What were you expecting? Lol.

the thing is at least in AVP we can SEE the predators and aliens. at least we can LOOK at them...
I dont have AVP at all because I can at least WATCH them fight.
AVPR... you cannot see anything, anything at all, these idiotic people made the movie too dark on purpose. I think they were trying to hide some problems with the suits or something. the movie, sometimes you have no idea what is going on. You cannot see anything at all.
More like they were trying to tone down the blood so that the movie wouldn't get a higher rating. It's the same sort of tactic that worked for Taxi Driver and Kill Bill.
