I've been looking for similar movies for a while now. Loved this one. Specifically I'm looking for courtroom dramas such as this and Primal Fear. Preferably past 1995. A lot of movies seem to be focussed on events outside the courtroom. Will you please post your recommendations on trial based movies?

'My Cousin Vinny' though from a diff genre(Comedy) this movie won Oscar for Actress in Leading Role. And Joe Pesci is splendid in title role.

I know this isn't a courtroom drama, but in most other respects it's fairly similar.
it's a crime thriller, stars a very good actor as a very sinister very smart character and has a similar tone and aesthetic.
I was about to recommend Primal Fear.
Frost vs Nixon ain't a court drama but it's in the same vibe, and is really good.
"Suspect" with Cher and Dennis Quaid is good, and slightly different but a fabulous courtroom drama is "Nuts" with Barbara Streisand and Richard Dreyfuss.
shareI know you said post-95, but there are loads of great older courtroom dramas out there. It's a very enjoyable genre for sure.
