I've been looking for similar movies for a while now. Loved this one. Specifically I'm looking for courtroom dramas such as this and Primal Fear. Preferably past 1995. A lot of movies seem to be focussed on events outside the courtroom. Will you please post your recommendations on trial based movies?

It's not past 1995, but Presumed Innocent (1990) is a good courtroom drama.

'A Few Good Men'. I'm surprised no one's mentioned it yet.
Also, check out 'The Lincoln Lawyer', 'A Time to Kill', 'Beyond a Reasonable Doubt'.
In spite of not being past 1995, 'Philadelphia' (1993) is a really good courtroom drama, too, with Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks.

I just watched bits and pieces of this movie, and it reminded me of 'Lincoln Lawyer' (2011) starring 'Matthew Mcconaughey'. It's somewhat of a court room drama, but a big part of it (half?) is about "out of court" affairs. Personally some of the plot twists was very foreseeable, but others were very interesting and surprising. All in all a good movie with pretty good acting and an interesting story.
