Super Film Superb Cinematography!

The cinematography by Russell Carpenter (an Oscar winner for Titanic) is distinctly more interesting than anything else we've seen so far this year. It delivered a well thought plan and purpose for each shot and relied heavily on the muted colors and rough lighting. It strips back some of the polish and gleaming surfaces of other blockbuster films in order to make a film that feels like it takes place in an actual world. The MCU feels as real here as ever.

There's a lot of Oscar talk for the FX of this film but I'd also like to see a nomination for best cinematography.

The cinematography is surprisingly good and does give the movie the look and feel of being the most grounded MCU film, but outside of the really nice sfx scenes I don't think it was quite oscar worthy.

Not bad though, glad it didn't look cheap like some of Marvels other films.

It feels like a live action comic book.

I accept your surrender.

Every Marvel film seems to land above 80% over on RT these days!

I'd flip the plate off his Titanic Oscar and write one for Ant-Man and glue it on. This looked even better than that film.

This movie honestly should have won awards. Many many awards.
