Awesome film! Marvel delivers Again

Obviously, if you're tired of the Marvel films then you should probably stay away from this; however, if you are a fan but are on the fence to see this one see you anyway because I promise you will be surprised

8.5/10 incredibly creative and very funny

Excellent film, I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. I really wasn't expecting Luis to be as great as he was. Micheal Pena was awesome and I really want to see more of his character.

Victory is Mine!!!

Is there any critic at all that didn't love Michael Pena in this film? Even one???

reply

I wonder if The Incredibles 2 will use any Marvel characters now that they are all in the same family?

reply

Every person that I've talked to enjoyed this film on one level or another.

Every single one of them.

Stan The Man appears at the very end. All MCU films should start using him twice in every movie.

reply

Why wouldn't they?

Wait until Luke Cage hits Netflix: “Luke Cage is a former gang member who is framed for a crime. In prison, he volunteers for a medical experiment that goes awry, giving him super strength and bulletproof skin. Using his newfound powers, Cage escapes and becomes a hero for hire. His archenemy is Willy Stryker, a former childhood friend from Harlem. The two committed petty crimes together, and both fell for the same woman, Reva Connors, which led to their eventual falling out. It was Stryker who framed Cage for a drug deal that sent him to prison.”

Awesome.

Just so you guys know, Greek banks are ready to open their branches for the first time in three weeks as eurozone leaders seek to restore trust after the bailout deal.

Evangeline Lilly is the emotional center of the film as Hank’s daughter – and Lang’s reluctant ally - Hope Pym. Her inner conflict mirrors the outer one, as past resentments cloud what is now essential: preventing the Pym Particle (the tech behind Ant-Man) from getting into the wrong hands. A great deal of both the heart and the sense of imminent peril are derived from Lilly’s portrayal. What’s lovely about the ensemble is that they each bring something unique and necessary to the film and yet fit seamlessly together as a team. Michael Pena (Luis Pena), T.I. (Dave), and David Dastmalchian (Kurt) play Lang’s criminal compatriots and serve as comic relief, though it is Pena who is truly given the opportunity to shine. He’s refreshing, has impeccable comic timing, and may have all but stolen the show if everyone around him wasn’t so damn good.

So is Ant-Man big enough to be apart of the Marvel Universe? You bet it is!

just got back from seeing it. what a great end to phase 2. funny, a bit moving at quite unexpected moments - i was really surprised to find myself feeling sad when anthony the camera ant was shot.

also really gripping and exciting at times, like a warped mission impossible film.

paul rudd and michael were particularly good, and props to corey stroll for being the best dressed villain in the marvel universe.

i had such a good time watching this and laughed so much; this is the funniest film the mcu has done imo.

the script could have been a bit tighter at times, but overall, 8/10 and i will be going to see this again

You know 'fan' is short for 'fanatic', right? Being a 'fanatic' isn't a good thing and certainly not something to be proud of.

MUTANT AND PROUD!!!

Ant-Man is a bit of a fresh air in the MCU after these awesome, explosive, interconnected films we had lately. The right movie at the right time.

Man, I had to get away from the FF prediction thread. It was weird. It was like watching a train going down the tracks towards a mountainside. You want to look away, but you just can't bring yourself to avert your eyes. As soon as I find out next weekend's drop, I'll stop visiting that page.

Why not talk about butt love?

reply

It doesn't just deliver for the fans, it delivers for everyone. That's this movie's ultimate strength.

reply

That is an indisputable fact.

It's not like the trolls ever mattered. A movie that's this good speaks for itself. Just like a movie as bad as Fantastic Four will sink itself.

reply

Those trolls don't know what to do with themselves until 2016. Then, they will have new purpose.

reply

Could it be any more awesome?

reply

If Marvel gets any more awesome they'll have to be outlawed in all the blue states.

reply

It passed both Cap and Thor domestically.
