It just doesn't work, "Speed" is corny enough, "Unstoppable" is similar, but with less emotion.
Out of the two i'd rather watch "Unstoppable" (this is my personal opinion).
There's only so many high speeding vehicle movies that they can do, if they do anymore they will start to look like that corny Judge Reinhold TV Movie "Runaway Car".
But unlike Speed, this movie was actually based on a true incident that actually happened in Ohio in 2001 when a real runaway train ran uncontrolled for 2 hours.

shareTasty corn. And bus travel is dying in America, less hubs and traditional fare. Upscale luxury buses, green efficiency vehicles, and railway somewhere in between. Speed is rated half a star better.
