Yes, this is stupid, badly written, and has a lot of offensive stereotypes, but it is also funny and so ridiculously over the top that I just can't hate it. I think Eddie Murphy actually does a pretty good job with the material. Norbit isn't a very good film, but it isn't awful either. I have seen much worse. I would rate it a 6/10.

It’s a crazy comedy with Eddie Murphy playing multiple characters and a actual Turkey ass meal. It should not be taken too seriously.

I laugh my ass of every time I watch it.

Eddie is so talented the way he pulls off these diverse characters but I appreciate the way he tones it all down for the Norbit character
