in New York, video games writer Christina (Evan Rachel Wood) is still haunted by having witnessed the suicide of her stalker Peter (Aaron Stanford). She’s even more confused when she checks her own voice notes and confirms that, sure enough, she had written a character named Peter whose life turned out just like the stalker’s did. His obituary says he left all his money to the Hope Center for Mental Health, but when Christina takes a day off work to go to Jersey to visit it, she’s baffled to find that the Memorial Wing dedicated to his memory must have been built years earlier. Indeed, the whole place is about to get torn down. Before she leaves, Christina also spots several patient-drawn illustrations of “the tower” that Peter claimed was controlling his life. Curiouser and curiouser.

Anyone have any theories about this matter? How is it possible this Peter who recently died and left money to this CENTER did it 7 YEARS ago?

Could it be because his SUICIDE is part of a LOOP where he portrays the part of jumping off of the ROOF the same way as HECTOR and the SNAKE GIRL use to repeatedly ROB the SAFE from the SALOON where Maeve worked???

And what about wearing a HAT inside of THE "GOLDEN AGE" Theme PARK???

Previously the HUMANS wore a HAT as a way to MONITOR them and RECORD everything that they did in the WESTWORLD Park.

But since CHARLOTTE/DOLORES is the one in charge of this NEW PARK (where she plans to torment HUMANS the same way they previously tormented the HOSTS) then WHY would HOSTS (as GUESTS to the PARK) need to wear a HAT???

And Why would C/D need to record what the HOSTS (as GUESTS) did in the park when they already have that PEARL inside of their head that records whatever they do???

Maeve and Caleb decline to wear one, but why would others who visit need to wear one?

The other reason for wearing the HAT was to be able to tell who's the GOOD GUY or BAD GUY (WHITE HAT vs BLACK HAT), but with HOSTS being the GUESTS, isn't EVERYONE who visits the PARK a BAD GUY or BAD GIRL in theory???

Or are the HOSTS also UNAWARE of the reasons why they go there (maybe because C/D has also programmed them to abuse the HUMANS against their WILLS)???

And why doesn't C/D also remember how there were also FAMILIES who visited WESTWORLD who weren't abusive? Remember how they also kept the NICER HUMANS in the CENTER part of the PARK and how the BAD GUYS would go on other ADVENTURES on the OUTSIDE part of the PARK? And how when HECTOR came to town they'd also protect the other FAMILIES by getting them out of town before he arrived???

So WHY would C/D need to seek REVENGE on ALL HUMANS when not all of them abused the HOSTS???

I still think it’s the past and Ford is testing host loops in the real world with Christina’s writing.

Christina will become one of the first writers for the original park.

I do hope the Christina thing isn’t a season long mystery though, I hope they wrap it up by the end episode 4 or 5 and give some scenes to Bernard in the valley beyond as we haven’t seen him at all yet.

No on the Ford part. Anthony Hopkins is not coming back to this & as far as Ford is concerned I think the series has moved past him & he’s no longer a factor from here on. At least I hope not.

Rent means she thinks TEDDY is a YOUNGER version of FORD.

I also thought the same thing about CALEB last season (that he might be a younger version of FORD).

Just read a theory that the Teddy we see at the end of the latest episode might actually be Robert Ford.

Christina and Robert date and she becomes the first narrative writer at the park and she creates Delores and Teddy based off her real life love with Robert Ford.

My bad, I’m going off of the theory that we will see a young Ford meeting Christine in the past.

There’s the theory that the Teddy we saw at the end of the season 4 premiere is a younger version of Ford.

As I was telling Jol, I thought maybe he was there to take her to Bernard. I’m not sure if he was the one who left the maze drawing on her fire escape. I doubt William did it & I doubt that Peter guy did it. For all we know her roomie could have done it but at this stage who knows.

If it's the past, then how do we explain this guy PETER having recently died in the PRESENT? And then her finding how the money that he dedicated to the Center was donated 7 YEARS ago?

Wouldn't it seem to indicate Peter's was in a LOOP where he jumps off the ROOF on a regular basis???

And maybe Christina also has her MIND or MEMORY WIPED CLEAN each night (like they were doing to DOLORES back in WESTWORLD)???

That could also explain the reason why she doesn't remember PETER or having written a story about him.

My working theory is that the original Peter Myers, whom the wing was named after, was replaced with a host who got trapped in something resembling a loop written by Christina. But a lot of the pieces are still missing. Over the phone, Maya tells Christina to come home. When she hangs up, Christina notices some leftover drawings of a tower — the same tower that a man on the High Line has been ranting about and sketching. That man complained about a song with no sound, like a hum, that only he and the birds could hear.

Is something up with Maya? Signs point to probably. I thought her being too hungover to go to work was a lovely detail, indicating to us that she does have a life outside of giving Christina pep talks. But I don’t know what she wants, and she was a little too quick on the draw pulling up Peter Myers’s obituary and a little too blind to the red flags that Christina discovers on her excursion. I also appreciate how she discourages Christina from pursuing this mystery without saying she’s crazy or overreacting. It’s supportive but maybe also sinister.

PLUS we also saw the DEAD BIRDS which would also seem to confirm what the crazy man keeps telling her about how the BIRDS can also hear the sound (which also apparently seems to have KILLED them).

The tower stuff is definitely interesting, this season definitely has more of an intriguing mystery hook than the last season.

I do hope Christine’s story is set in the past though, I really want to see more of the origins of Westworld and plus it’s a way to bring back Ford without having to get Anthony Hopkins back.

Yes the TOWER that's sending out MUSIC that only certain characters and the BIRDS can hear is intriguing.

Who would be doing this and why??? And WHY would they also want to kill the BIRDS???

Didn't they also have some kind of SATELLITE where info was being SMUGGLED OUT to back in S1??? Then CHARLOTTE also replaced the other woman that FORD KILLS or has BERN kill her for doing that???

Somehow it's hard to imagine TEDDY MORPHING to become EVIL enough to do that, but we also saw WILLIAM turn into what he's become now after he sees DOLORES rolling the can for another different man.

It was also disappointing not to see anymore of TEDDY this week. They also say BERN will be back again this coming Sunday, and that there's also a HUGE TWIST of some kind coming up in Ep 4.

So wonder what could that be???

Also wonder why we see that TREE BURNING up in the PREVIEW CLIP???

William is NOT William, so I’m not saying I feel sorry for him, he deserves it but even if he’s released or rescued I doubt he’s going to turn around & be a good guy or do his best to help anybody.

The thing about the birds is it seems that no one else noticed them except Christina. Maybe they’re not real, well to everyone else. I’d stop if I saw such a thing but again no one else seemed to have noticed.

OMG!!! Wonderful observation Jeepster !!! Great catch !!!

I hope the BIG SURPRISE that's coming up in Ep 4 isn't going to be Christina is supposed to be crazy like the other guy in the street who keeps talking about the TOWER!!!

Will we also see her be placed into a hospital like William was where they'll put one of those HEADSETS on her???

Remember how William also had a fight with the BOY version of himself, the other WILLIAM who first visits Westworld, and the Man in Black and kills all of them???

Imagine Christina having fights with all of those other versions of herself that she's created (Charlotte, Musashi, Martin and Lawrence)!!!

Or what if BERN is also another VERSION of DOLORES as well???

That might also explain the reason why she TRUSTED him with the KEY to the SUBLIME???

And since wearing BLACK or WHITE CLOTHES in WESTWORLD was also a way to tell the GOOD GUYS from the BAD GUYS, could this also be a PARK that Christina is located inside of?

And would her NOT WEARING BLACK or WHITE indicate she's a HOST inside of this PARK???

Well I thought that it was probably a setup or a red herring to lure her to Bernard. Because I thought that Bernard was at that center waiting for her but I guess I was wrong about that. I’m trying to decide if host William knows where she is & that she doesn’t remember who she is anymore. He would’ve grabbed her or attacked her by now I”m guessing if he knew so this I’m debating about. That goes for Charlotte too of course. If she knows then William does, so maybe whatever happened to Dolores/Christina fixed it so they were unable to locate her.

The biggest surprise about Christina/Dolores, the BIGGEST surprise maybe that somehow, someway she was able to clone herself into a human, not a host. That could be the reason no one has tracked her down yet. Makes sense because this is the only real card they could play as a revelation.

Now I’m not sure if Bernard is going to be at the park waiting for Mave. I’m not sure what’s going on & who he’s going to talk to first. This series seems so convoluted I wish it would end already.

CHRISTINA may also be the HUMAN "WOMAN with the WHITE SHOES" that we heard OLD BILL talking about.

In other words, DOLORES may also have been MODELED on a REAL HUMAN person named Christina that FORD use to know.

Back in season 1 Dolores also asked Ford if they'd known each other before or if they'd been friends and he DENIED it.

But he may also have been friends with a human Christina (not DOLORES). So he also wouldn't have lied. But he also may not have told the truth either.

Since DOLORES TRUSTED BERN enough to give him the KEY to the SUBLIME or the VALLEY BEYOND, there's no telling why she did that or what she hopes his having it will accomplish.

And we still also don't know the reason why SERAC wanted access to it.

But since we also only have 6 more EPISODES left of this season, it will also be ENDING pretty soon at which time one also hopes we'll have some ANSWERS to our questions.
