If they were hell-bent on being outside the park

and bringing in Aaron Paul's character (he sucked btw), the best way to handle Delores would be to have her use him to bring the system crashing down; especially when she reveals the system is controlling humanity. He was not happy about that. His anger was sincere. He even doubted her motives multiple times throughout the season. He doubted her again in the final minutes, but then we got Delores' sappy montage and he was on her side again. It was about as believable as her character turn.

She would have still been the villain and Caleb joining Maeve actually makes sense. Delores would have used him to bring about the apocalypse. The crap we got instead just makes no sense.

For all we know they've NEVER REALLY LEFT the PARK at all,
because we might also still be FOLLOWING the NEW NARRATIVE that FORD wrote,
because the GUEST had become BORED with the other STORIES that were originally written.

So EVERYTHING we've seen since we saw DOLORES die in the arms of TEDDY on the BEACH (which was right before the HOSTS come out of the WOODS and begins GUNNING DOWN the BOARD MEMBERS), could all be a part of FORD's NEW NARRATIVE.

Check out this VIDEO which also suggests what we're dealing with now is a GAME that FORD created for WILLIAM:

Westworld Season 3 Ford's Plan for William | The Door to Delores

And since you don't DIE as long as there's someone who remembers you, that could also be WILLIAM who remembers DOLORES and can therefore also RESURRECT her again at some point???
