All actors were terrific in this film but in my opinion the best work came from Chazz Palminteri, Dianne Wiest and Channing Tatum.

Before this film i don't think i've seen Chazz Palminteri in any films, but after watching his performance in this movie, im gonna go out and rent some of his movies.

Im wasn't a big fan of Channing Tatum, as im not into these teeny bopper films, but after watching this film i can now say im a fan of his work. he was just fantastic in this movie.

I also enjoyed Dianne Wiest's performance...shame she had small roles, but a scene that stood out for me was towards the end where she and downey were sitting on the stairs and talking...reminds me abit of mystic river with Marcia gay-harden.

All well cast but these three for me stood out the most after watching it.

Loved the dog walker. Great film. Glad to find a thread where people aren't clobbering each other for having differences of opinion.

Dianne West, Robert Downey Jr., Shia LeBeof, and Channing Tatum for me. Dianne West and Robert Downey Jr. were to be expected but Channing Tatum kind of surprised me. It must have been the dialogue or something in those "teeny bopper" movies cuz he was wonderful in this. Definitely convinced me he is not just another pretty face. Shia LeBeof definitely did well with something other than what I've seen him in. Surprising talent to come from the disney channel.

I like Channing Tatum but something about his character didn't click for me in this movie. I thought Shia LaBeouf and Robert Downey Jr really stood out - they handled their characters beautifully.

I thought literally EVERYONE did fab in this film. The young cast absolutley blew me away. But I will have to give this one to Adam Scarimbolo as Giuseppe. He is one of the lesser knowns and it is quite a shame because he is a truly gifted actor. I fell in love with the complex character of Giuseppe and I think most of the reason why is how Adam portrayed him. Great movie with a superb cast. Amazing : )

Channing Tatum killed it. The other actors were good but he really impressed me in this film. I'd written him off as a pretty-boy beefcake type in the past but his intensity in this film was something to behold. I'd love to see him tap into that well again.

Hands down Dianne Wiest, a flawless performance. I agree with others here, not Chazz Palminteri's best role. He seemed to be doing his best to channel Christopher Walken at times, for obvious reasons I guess.

Definitely Channing Tatum. Before this movie, we only saw him in roles that wrrent emotional or rough and after watching this movie, people could see that the guy could actually offer more in regards to his acting.

He did a great job at portraying the tough kid from the neighborhood that a lot of us remember growing up.
